Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?

A: Our professional painters do move some small furniture. However, antiques, expensive, breakable, heavy, or sentimental items will need to be moved by you before we arrive to ensure it is not damaged by us. If we cannot move an item, we will cover it with plastic. Gabriel can advise what we are able to do for your project when he gives you a quote.

Q: Are you insured?

A: YES! Call us for an estimate and we will be happy to give a copy of our insurance upon request.

Q: Does a painting company need to be licensed and bonded in Texas?

A: No. However, we do carry insurance. Request a copy with your free estimate.

Q: Do you provide references?

A: Yes, ask Gabriel for a copy of our references upon request. They will all be happy to speak with you.

Q: What types of paint do you use?

A: We use nationally recognized brands such as Behr & Sherwin Williams. We do not skimp or water down your paint, nor do we switch and put cheaper paints in pre-labeled national brand cans. You can trust that we will buy new paint for each job.

Q: What if I don't know what kind of paint to put on my walls?

A: Let us help you with that. At your consult, we can suggest paint types, colors and more! Just ask Gabriel; he's knowledgeable in the best paints & stains on the market.

Q: I bought paint. Can I just have you apply it?

A: Of course! When you call, let us know that you have your paint. We will quote you for labor only.

Q: Do you give written estimates?

A: Yes, we will email you an estimate before we start a job, and will email you an invoice when payment is due.

Q: Do you give estimates over the phone?

A: Sometimes. Give Gabriel a call, text or email. He's happy to discuss your project prior to estimation.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept checks, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express), and cash. We will provide you with a payment receipt via email.

Q: I'm having a child's room painted and I'm concerned about fumes. Is there anything you can do?

A: Yes, we will ensure that your child's room is painted with low VOC paint. Not sure what that is? Just ask Gabriel. He can explain the benefits of low VOC with you at your estimate.

Q: I need the exterior of my home painted, but it's been raining for days. Will you come out when the rain stops?

A: When painting the exterior of any home, weather is a factor. We will come out when it has been dry for over 24 hours to inspect that the wood and siding are not wet or moist prior to painting. By doing this, we are protecting your home from harmful mold that could be caused by trapping moisture in the wood and ensuring that the paint and primer will adhere correctly.
